Property Owners' Assistance
When it comes to paying your property taxes, timing is everything. Check out our frequently asked questions to help make sure your property is always in business.
Timing is everything. It is important to make a decision quickly as to how you are going to pay delinquent property taxes. As soon as your taxes are delinquent, the taxing authority will charge interest and penalties with every passing month. The member companies of the TPTLA are here to help you pay your property taxes and avoid these additional county charges.
Property tax payment plans are designed to provide property owners with an alternative to paying large lump-sum payments to their taxing authorities. The use of a Tax Lien Transfer (TLT) enables property owners to avoid the bulk of these interest and penalties, and work on paying off the delinquency through a negotiated payment arrangement.
