SCOTUS Upholds 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Ruling on Property Tax Lending
On October 31, 2016, the Supreme Court of the United States upheld the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling. The court upheld the lower court ruling that property tax loans are not extensions of “credit” subject to federal lending laws.
